PM assures support to farmers

NEW DELHI, JUNE 28. The Prime Minister, Manmohan Singh, said today that the Government had taken concrete steps to address the problem of credit, agricultural prices and technological and marketing support for the farm community.

Mr. Singh told a delegation of farmers and their associations that he would seek their advice from time to time to tackle these issues.
