THIRUVANANTHAPURAM, JUNE 28. The Government has passed orders sanctioning Plus Two (Commerce) courses in 194 of its high schools in the State. A press note issued here today said the Government has decided to allow Plus Two courses in 206 Government schools in all. In accordance with a High Court verdict on this matter, schools in Pathanamthitta and Kottayam have been excluded while preparing the list of 194 schools. Applications will be accepted in these schools till July 7. The rank-list will be published on July 12, the interview will be held on July 14 and classes will begin on July 19. The list of schools in Thiruvananthapuram district, where the courses have been sanctioned, is given below. VHSS, Vakkom; SNV Government HS, Kadakkavoor; GHS, Peroorkada; VHSS, Poovar; HS, Vilavoorkkal; HS, Ayirooppara; Boys' HS, Karamana; VHSS, Parassala; VHSS, Arayoor; HS, Aryanad; HS, Poovachal; HS, Aruvikkara; HS, Kazhakoottam; HS, Kavalayoor; HS, Kappil; HS, Mylachal; VHSS, Vattiyoorkavu; VHSS, Vithura and HS for Girls, Kanyakulangara.
