ABN AMRO launches AMC

MUMBAI: ABN AMRO on Tuesday flagged off its mutual fund business in India by launching its asset management company ABN AMRO Asset Management (India) Ltd. With this, ABN AMRO cements the missing link in its product suite to become a full services bank in India.

Speaking at the launch, ABN AMRO, Global CEO, Huibert Boumeester, said, "Not only are we convinced that the Indian market is attractive from a growth and profit perspective, we also believe we can add something to this market: new and innovative product, `best practice' fund management skills and a truly client focussed approach."
