BIDAR, JUNE 30. Students of the Guru Nanak Dev Engineering College achieved 97.91 per cent passes in the 8th semester examination conducted by the Visvesvaraya Technological University. According to a press release from the director of the college, all students of electronics and communication engineering, industrial and production engineering, and information science and engineering had passed the examination. The pass percentage for other disciplines is as follows: mechanical engineering 97.96 , automobile engineering 97.66, civil engineering 96.9, electrical and electronic engineering 95, computer science and engineering 95.8. Of the 247 students who passed the examination, 244 students obtained distinction, and the other three passed with first classes, the press release said.
