UP Ministers quit

LUCKNOW, JUNE 30. The Uttar Pradesh's Council of Ministers today resigned en masse to give the Chief Minister, Mulayam Singh Yadav, a ``free hand'' in downsizing his Cabinet ahead of the July 7 deadline.

All Ministers of the 65-member Sushilkumar Shinde Ministry in Maharashtra, barring two, too tendered their resignations today.
