No problems for Dolphin

COIMBATORE, JULY 1. Dolphin CC scored a convincing 104-run win over Janaranjani CC in the Indian Bank CDCA second division league, organised by Coimbatore District Cricket Association, at the SNR College grounds here.

At the PSG Tech grounds, Tirupur CC beat Senthil Srinivasan Memorial CC by 117 runs.

In the Tirupur Textiles fourth division league matches played at Forest College grounds, Padaippa CC defeated Annamalai CC by three wickets while Coimbatore Friends trounced Sugunapuram by 53 runs at Agri grounds.

At Nethaji grounds in Udumalpet, Arumugam Eleven Patriots registered a 53-run win over Lucky Young Star.

The scores (Second division): Dolphin CC 209 in 46.2 overs (Velusamy 44, Kannan 33, C.P. Senthil three for 31) bt Janaranjani CC 105 in 41.5 overs (Vignesh Manikandan 41, Prakash three for 30, Sagairaj three for 14).

Tirupur 266 for eight in 50 overs (Santosh 62, Prabhu 57, Balaji 47) bt Senthil Srinivasan MCC 149 in 34.3 overs (Kathirvel 54, Shanmuga Prabakar four for 28, Rathanasamy three for 35).

Fourth division: Annamalai 222 in 50 overs (Barath Kumar 81, Venkatesh 56, Yousuf 37, Elango three for 34) lost to Padaippa CC 223 for seven in 49 overs (Shahul 67, Arumugam 54, Venkatesh four for 27); Coimbatore Friends 230 for eight in 50 overs (C.R.
