Allahabad Bank ties up with LIC

MUMBAI: Life Insurance Corporation of India and Allahabad Bank have entered into a strategic tie-up to develop Bancassurance. A memorandum of understanding (MoU) was signed through which the bank will tie-up with LIC as a corporate agent. This tie-up is aimed at providing value added services in the form of providing life insurance products to the large captive customer base of Allahabad Bank, the bank informed the Bombay Stock Exchange.
