Judicial remand

NEW DELHI, JULY 1. The husband and brother-in-law of a woman who accused them of having raped her for the last six years, were today sent to 14-day judicial custody.

Police said Deepak (34) and his brother Amit have been taken in judicial custody and on the case would be proceeded with on the basis of the outcome of the interrogation.

The woman who got married to Deepak in 1996 and has a 7-year-old child, had yesterday alleged that her husband, brother-in-law and father-in-law had been physically abusing and assaulting her besides mentally torturing her for the past six years.
