New MD for IBM India

CHENNAI, JULY 2. IBM has announced the appointment of Shanker Annaswamy as the Managing Director of IBM India. He takes over from Abraham Thomas who has been named Vice President for IBM's Global Small and Medium Business Asean/South Asia, based out of Singapore.

Mr. Annaswamy will report to Satish Khatu, General Khatu, General Manager, IBM Asean/South Asia. The appointments are effective mid-July, says a release.
