HYDERABAD, JULY 2. The second leg of the Nutrine Naturo all-India sub junior tennis tournament will be held in Hyderabad from July 5 to 10. This will be the second year in succession that the tournament is being conducted. While last year the tournament was held in five centres, this year it will be conducted at seven and the plan is to increase the number of centres to ten by 2005 said B.L. Venkateshwar, Senior Vice President, Nutrine Confectionery Co. while addressing a press conference here on Friday. The first leg of the tournament was played in Chennai in June. The second leg will be in Hyderabad and thereafter in Delhi (August 4 to 7), Kolkata (Sept. 15 to 18), Pune (Oct. 6 to 9), Mumbai (Nov. 10 to 13), and the Masters in Bangalore (Dec 1 to 4). The acceptance list for each tournament will be decided on the latest AITA points as per its new rules and a separate AITA-Nutrine Naturo ranking list will also be maintained for the Masters tournament. Nutrine will be spending about Rs. 20 lakhs for sponsorship of the tournaments this year an increase of four lakhs from last year. The company is also involved in promoting several other sports at junior and senior levels. The AITA points to be awarded will be Under 12: winner (7), runner-up (5), semifinalists (3), quarterfinalists (2) and pre-quarterfinalists (one). In the under-14 section it will be 20, 15, 10, 5 and 3 respectively. The matches will be played at the tennis complex at Lal Bahadur stadium. Our Special Correspondent
