Organon India divests bulk drug facility

KOLKATA: Organon India, a part of the Netherlands-based Akzo Nobel group, has divested its Diosynth bulk drug manufacturing facility here to ASG Biochem Pvt. Ltd., a member of the Apeejay Stya group, subject to necessary legal approvals. Talking to The Hindu, S. Coomer, Director and Secretary of Organon India, said the business was divested as part of the global strategy followed by Akzo Nobel to optimise its production resources and streamline its long term operations.
