Suhail stars in Sonnet Club's win

NEW DELHI, JULY 2. Suhail Ahmad's five for 20 steered Sonnet Club to four-wicket win against Dena Bank and a place in the final of the DDCA hot weather cricket tournament here.

In the other semifinal, Amit Mishra (five for 35) helped the Oil and Natural Gas Corporation (ONGC) to 26-run win against Youngsters at the Jamia ground here.

The scores: Dena Bank 144 in 34.3 overs (Mobin Ahmad 57, Sanjay Sharma 28, Suhail Sharma five for 20) lost to Sonnet Club 145 for six in 32.1 overs (Naresh Jain 32, Saket Bhatia 27, Deepak Joon 27); ONGC 258 for six in 40 overs (Sandeep Sharma 97, Gagan Khoda 67, Amit Chaudhary three for 42) bt Youngsters 232 in 39.2 overs (Jitender Gulia 76, Rajat Gupta 47, Amit Mishra five for 35).
