JALANDHAR, JULY 2. Air travellers from Punjab will now have direct connection to Los Angeles from Amritsar over Frankfurt by Air India flights every Friday. An Air India spokesperson told UNI here today that with the availability of this option with effect from July 1, passengers would not have to go to Mumbai or Delhi to catch the flights to Los Angeles and other en route destinations. On every Friday, the travellers could take an Air India flight for Frankfurt from Amritsar where they could catch Mumbai-Los Angeles flight and reach Los Angeles and 17 more West Coast destinations via Los Angeles with American Airlines and United Airlines and their partner airlines. Air India has also introduced extremely low fares as an introductory offer. Air India's flight frequency to the U.S. from India has also been increased from 10 services in a week to 23 services per week. UNI
