BIDAR, JULY 3. Presidents of three standing committees of the Bidar Zilla Panchayat were elected unopposed in the elections held here today. Firoze Khan was elected as president of the education and health standing committee. Four of the seven members of the committee, Firoze Khan, Maruthirao Shakha, Shakunatala Parvathmath, and Hanumanth Ladha were present. Mr. Ladha proposed Mr. Khan's name for the post. Shalubai Bansude was elected as president of the social justice committee. Apart from her, Ashokrao Mule, Prabhavati Vaijanath, Ujwala Prakash Tonne, and Chayabai Srinivas were present during the election. Mr. Mule proposed the name of Ms. Bansude. Kalavati Vaijanth Anande was elected as president of the agriculture and industry committee. Her name was proposed by Vijaykumar Kashempur. Mallikarjun Nagarale, Prabhavati Vaijanath and Hanumanth Ladha were present.
