Pulse polio drive today
Spearheaded by Rotary International, WHO, UNICEF and CDC, the global polio eradication initiative is the largest public-private sector partnership. A total of 4,000 polio booths have been set up in Delhi alone, of which nearly 125 will be mobile ones. Polio centres will also be set up at the entry points to Delhi like airports, railway stations, inter-State bus terminals and national highways.
Plea for internal trade ministry
The CAIT secretary general, Praveen Khandelwal, said the Confederation has also demanded the formation of a high-power Trade Law Review Commission to review threadbare the more than 20 trade laws in the country. The memorandum urged the Union Government to declare India a free trade zone. The CAIT has also called for the formation of a Special Grievance Cell at Centre and State Government levels to deal with the day-to-day problems of traders.

The total cost of the underpass constructed by the Delhi Tourism Department is Rs. 3,200 lakhs. The underpass will provide a signal-free access to traffic on Outer Ring Road through the intersection with Road No.41 at Madhuban Chowk.
