CHENNAI, JULY 3. Globe Trotters defeated State Bank of India by an innings and 112 runs on the second day of the three-day first round SPIC-TNCA first division league match at the MRF-Pach. `A' grounds here on Saturday. Resuming at 39 for no loss to Globe Trotters' 398 for five declared, SBI was bundled out for 110 with right-arm medium-pacer M.R. Shrinivas doing most of the damage picking up six wickets; he claimed the last three wickets in 12 deliveries conceding just one run. Asked to follow-on, SBI could manage only 166. Off-spinner V.R.S. Gurukedarnath and Shrinivas finished with match-hauls of six for 67 and seven for 64 respectively.
