Coimbatore scrapes through

COIMBATORE, JULY 3. A defiant 50-run partnership between Imran Khan and R. Siddharth was instrumental in host Coimbatore registering a thrilling one-wicket win over Madurai in the TNCA under-17 inter-district cricket tournament for the P.R. Thevar Trophy at the Agri grounds here on Saturday.

At Salem: Salem 156 in 43 overs (P. Subramaniam 33, R. Amit Singh 25, S. Suresh four for 39) lost to Tiruchi 157 for three in 38.1 overs (S. Balaji 50, S.R. Vishwanath 45).
