Alappuzha
ALAPPUZHA, JULY 3. The Alappuzha MP, K. S. Manoj, today inaugurated the two-day book festival of the Alappuzha district library council at the Alappuzha Government Girls' High school auditorium. K. C. Venugopal, MLA, presided over the function. Those who offered felicitations included the Alappuzha municipal chairperson, Lalithamma Somanathan, the former MLA, G. Sudhakaran, and the president of the Sahitya Pravarthaka Sahakarana Sanghom, Sivaraman Cheriyanad. The two-day book festival will feature books by 32 publishers, said, Jathindran, convener of the festival.
