Roshan, Prajisha set new records

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM, JULY 3. Two new meet records were set as the participants of the 48th State senior athletic meet battled hard against the adverse ground and weather conditions on the opening day of the two-day event at the University stadium here on Saturday.

In the men's section, Ernakulam's K.R. Roshan sailed to a new high in the high jump by clearing 2.11m , while, M.K. Prajisha (Pathanamthitta) found a new distance in the women's javelin throw, with an effort of 47.56m.
