Jiby Maliakkal finishes third

MUMBAI, JULY 3. Jiby Maliakkal (Team Chettinad) finished third after four stages of the MAK Nashik Rally's first leg, the opening round of Motorsports Association of India's Indian National Rally Championship sponsored by Gulf Oil, on Saturday.

Maliakkal caught up with the leader in the third stage, clocking the fastest time of 23.41 over a 28.41-km stretch, then found his vehicle failing to start due to electrical problem.
