IPS officer elevated to Inspector-General rank

HYDERABAD,
JULY 3.
A 1982 batch Indian Police Officer, P.V.K. Reddy, who was working as the Director of National Industrial Security Academy (NISA), has been elevated to the rank of Inspector-General and posted to the Central Industrial Security Force (CISF), South West sector.
As IG, CISF, Mr. Reddy's jurisdiction extends to the entire southern and western sectors spreading across 13 States, where CISF is executing security functions. Out of the 121 units under his command, most vulnerable and sensitive are 22 Airports, 11 Atomic Power units.
