The DNA tests have confirmed that Mr. Narayana had fathered the woman's two children. Ms. Narmada had lodged a complaint with the police alleging that she was the wife of the officer and that the two children were born to her and Mr. Narayana. She alleged that Mr. Narayana was unwilling to accept her as his wife. Blood samples of Mr. Narayana, Ms. Narmada and her children -- Sanjay and Deepika -- was collected at the Andhra Pradesh Forensic Science Laboratory on June 5, and the report submitted to the police on Friday. The City Police Commissioner, R. P. Singh, speaking to reporters on Saturday confirmed that the DNA report was positive. "A cheating case has been registered against him. According to sources, Mr. Narayana was give ample time to enter into a compromise with the woman. "First the woman demanded Rs. 10 lakhs, then Rs. 15 lakhs. It kept on increasing," sources said.
