Rain likely

The sky will be generally cloudy on Sunday. There may be one or two spells of light rain, according to the weather forecast.

On Saturday, the city and the airport recorded a maximum temperature of 27 degrees Celsius. The minimum temperature in the city was 19.8 degrees Celsius while it was 19.4 degrees Celsius at the airport. The relative humidity was 88 per cent in the city and 86 per cent at the airport.

The city received 0.6 mm rainfall while the figure for airport was 4.9 mm.

Health camp

Panacea Hospital, Basaveshwaranagar, will hold a free health screening camp for senior citizens on Sunday. The camp will begin at 8 a.m. Blood pressure, and haemoglobin and blood sugar levels will checked, and electrocardiogram, bone densitometry and pap smear (for women) tests conducted.

Public speaking

Garden City Speakers' Forum, affiliated to Toastmasters International, will conduct a workshop on public speaking on weekends over four weeks. The forum is a non-profit organisation.

Heart check-up

Trinity Hospital and Heart Foundation is conducting a free heart check-up camp between 9 a.m. and 4 p.m. on Sunday at Bangalore International School, Chikkalasandra.

The screening will cover medical history examinations.
