NEW DELHI, JULY 4. The Bihar Chief Minister, Rabri Devi, today dropped 17 ministerial colleagues to downsize her Ministry ahead of the July 7 deadline for the coming into force of a new law restricting Ministries to 15 per cent of the strength of the State Assemblies. A Raipur report said that 17 Ministers in Chhattisgarh had resigned ahead of a crucial meeting of the ruling Bharatiya Janata Party's core group which will decide about the reconstitution of the seven-month-old Raman Singh Ministry.
