'Mop-up' vaccination

NEW DELHI, JULY 4. Crores of children were given polio drops in a ``mop-up'' vaccination round today in the high-risk areas of the country, as a final attack on the crippling disease.

``Polio drops were given in Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, West Bengal, three districts of Uttaranchal, east Delhi, 11 districts in Orissa and five districts in Andhra Pradesh,'' officials said. — PTI
