It's a chance meeting, says Narendra

By Our Staff Reporter

HYDERABAD, JULY 4. The Union Minister of State for Rural Development, A. Narendra, has defended his meeting with Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) leaders saying there was nothing wrong in it.

Asked for his comments on the remarks made by some political parties on the issue, Mr. Narendra said here on Sunday that some people, who could not stomach the growing importance of the TRS and its leaders, were resorting to mudslinging. He said the issue was over.

Mr. Narendra also said he did not prescribe to the ideology of the RSS any more having severed links with it long ago. His meeting with RSS leaders was unexpected, he added.
