St. Thomas wins title

TIRUNELVELI, JULY 4. St. Thomas Higher Secondary School, Kurichi, lifted the ICL trophy defeating Sri Parama Kalyani Higher Secondary School, Alwarkurichi by 41 runs in the final of the Tirunelveli District Schools (under-15) cricket tournament on Sunday.

The scores: St. Thomas HSS 149 for four in 25 overs bt Sri Parama Kalyani HSS 108 in 21 overs. Special awards: Batsman: T. Soundarajan (SPK); Bowler: Sujith (St. Thomas). All-rounder: M. Kannan (St. Thomas). Man of the final: A. Subramanian (St. Thomas).
