Tributes paid to Ranga

VIJAYAWADA, JULY 4. Floral tributes were paid to Vangaveeti Mohana Ranga Rao on the occasion of his birth anniversary here on Sunday.

The Vijayawada MP, L. Rajagopal, the VGTM-UDA Chairman, Malladi Vishnu, the Avanigadda MLA, Mandali Buddha Prasad, the former Vijayawada Mayor, J. Sankar, and the Vijayawada East MLA, Vangaveeti Radhakrishna, garlanded the Congress leader's statue in front of the Victoria Jubilee Museum.

Ranga Rao's admirers and Congress leaders celebrated the birth anniversary by distributing books, clothes and sweets to needy students. In Kothapeta Nehru statue centre, the Youth Congress leader, Patnal Ramu, distributed books, clothes and sweets. At the Marupilla Chitti Congress office, floral tributes were paid to Ranga Rao by Adduri Ramulu, Mahadevu Rama Rao and the former corporator, Panugu Seshu.
