PNB issues crop loan sanction letters

HYDERABAD,
JULY 4
. Punjab National Bank (PNB) has issued crop loan sanction letters to 50 farmers.
The letters were distributed by the Nalgonda district Collector, K. Vijayanand, at Kurmed in Chintapalli mandal in Nalgonda district.
According to the bank General Manager, A. Balasubramanian, the bank has provided immediate relief to affected farmers by converting existing crop loans to medium-term loans of Rs. 8.20 crores.
It had also provided fresh crop loans, he said.
The bank has launched a new village adoption scheme with the sanctioned expenditure of Rs. 1 lakh to be spent on the development of one village in each region.
The bank has issued 8,759 Kisan Credit Cards so far, according to a press release.
