PANAJI, JULY 5. The Goa headquarters of the Coast Guard on Sunday organised a cross-country run to create awareness on environment and health among the public in the locality. The Deputy Director-General of Coast Guard Anjan Roy flagged off the run from the headquartes building at Tatrakshak Vihar in Mangoor Hill. The run, comprising 150 people from the Coast Guard as well as the public, between Mangoor Hill and Hollant Beach, covered a distance of 6.5 km.<149>, says an official release. The participants cleared the beach of plastic and other wastes<149>.
