PONDICHERRY, JULY 5. A four-member gang fatally assaulted a dealer in Compact Discs, in Sunday Bazaar on Mahatma Gandhi road here, last night. Police said Natarajan died of injuries he sustained on the head . The gang had in the meanwhile fled from the spot. It was alleged that when the four approached the shop owner, a wordy duel occurred between them and the CD dealer resulting in the death of the owner.
