Big win for FAPS
BANGALORE,
JULY 5.
Frank Anthony Public School crushed St. Germain's High School by 135 runs in the Cottonian Shield inter-school cricket tournament at the Bishop Cotton School grounds here on Monday.
FAPS made 203 for nine wickets in 30 overs, with Abhijith top-scoring with 83. In reply, St. Germain's were bowled out for 68. Bharath (four for 28) and Arjun (three for 14) were the best bowlers.
In another match, an unbeaten 50 by Girija. S went in vain as Carmel School lost to Vidyaniketan by six wickets.
The scores: Carmel School 126 in 30 overs (Girija. S 50 n.o.) lost to Vidyaniketan 127 for four in 16.3 overs.
FAPS 203 for nine in 30 overs (Abhijith. S 83) bt St. Germain's HS 68 (Bharath four 28, Arjun three for 14).
