Nellore
NELLORE, JULY 5. Telugu Desam Party leader and former Minister, M. Janakiram, has regretted the omission of Nellore district from the scheme of cultivation of bio-diesel plants. In a statement issued here on Monday, he accused the Government of adopting a discriminatory attitude towards circar districts. It may be mentioned that an attempt to cultivate bio-diesel plants has already been made in Narrawada of Nellore district, during the TDP rule. Mr. Janakiram pointed that the scheme was highly beneficial to farmers due to less investment. He urged the elected representatives to take initiative and ensure that the bio-diesel plant cultivation applied to Nellore district also.
