Assistance to self-help groups
COIMBATORE: Bank of India plans to extend financial assistance to the tune of Rs. 17 crores covering 800 self-help groups (SHGs) in Krishnagiri District in 2004-05. A release from the bank said that it had three branches in Krishnagiri District Krishnagiri, Thogarapalli and Alapatti. By the end of this fiscal, the bank aimed at achieving a total disbursement of Rs. 34.69 crores as financial assistance covering 2055 SHGs in Krishnagiri District. Our Staff Reporter
