Seats for higher secondary courses increased

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM, JULY 5. The State Government has issued orders increasing the seats for the Higher Secondary courses in the schools in the Government, Aided and unaided sectors by 10 per cent in addition to the 20 per cent rise in the number of seats announced earlier. This should be implemented without causing additional financial burden for the Government as well as without creating new posts.

The order is applicable to all the newly sanctioned 194 Government Higher secondary schools.

This order would be applicable only for this academic year, according to a release issued here today.
