Industrial estate to get more water

BHADRAVATI, JULY 8. A sum of Rs. 1 crore has been sanctioned to augment water supply in the Machenahally industrial estate, B.H. Siddappa, joint director of the industrial estate, has announced.

He said work in this regard would be taken up under the basic amenities programme.

The Karnataka Industrial Area Development Board had allotted four industrial units of 1.5 hectares each to entrepreneurs, he said.

Seventeen industrial sites had been allotted through the Karnataka State Industrial Development Corporation.

Also, 26 industrialists had been offered training, Mr. Siddappa added.
