ALAPPUZHA, JULY 8. The Mararikkulam police have arrested the driver of the tipper lorry which hit a highway police inspector at Mararikkulam,. The police inspector had died as result of the injuries sustained in the accident, police sources said. The police said a case had been registered against the driver, who has been identified as Johnson, of Thundivila Puthen Veedu, Kottarakkara. The police said the driver had confessed that he had lost control of the lorry which had resulted in the accident that had killed the police inspector on the highway.
