COIMBATORE, JULY 8. The City Police in a drive against video piracy have arrested 14 CD library owners and have seized 1,475 CDs of latest Tamil films estimated at Rs. one lakh. The Deputy Commissioner of Police, (Law and Order), Coimbatore City, P. Nagarajan, and the Assistant Commissioner of Police (Law and Order), Coimbatore East, S. Nizamuddin, told newsmen that a drive was organised against all the CD and video libraries coming under the eight police station limits of Coimbatore Central and west sub-division. During the raid, the police team stumbled on the CDs of latest pirated Tamil films from various libraries in Sai Baba Colony, R.S. Puram, Ukkadam, Gandhipuram, Ganapathy, Sidhapudur and other posh residential areas.
