COIMBATORE, JULY 8. The Tamil Nadu State Transport Corporation today paid Rs.3.6 lakhs as compensation to an accident victim after its bus was attached by an order of the Fast Track Court I.Nagaraj (23) was injured when a TNSTC bus (route number 7) had knocked him down on April 8, 1999. He had moved court for compensation and was awarded the sum. However, the TNSTC had allegedly delayed payment and Nagaraj had moved an execution petition in the court. On June 21, 2004, the court ordered attachment of the bus.
