BELGAUM, JULY 9. Parents of students have expressed concern over the non-availability of Marathi textbooks for Class X one and half months after the commencement of the current academic year. The Giants Group of Belgaum, which had announced that it would distribute textbooks free to at least 500 students belonging to poor sections of society, submitted a memorandum to the in-charge Deputy Commissioner and Chief Executive Officer of the Belgaum Zilla Panchayat, Rajender Kumar Kataria, urging for <149>him to take immediate action in this regard.
