Ryot ends life

CUDDAPAH, JULY 9. A farmer, Kothapalle Balaji (38), committed suicide by hanging himself in his house in Tallapaka village in Rajampet mandal on Friday.

He resorted to the extreme step as he was in debts to the tune of Rs. 1 lakh due to crop losses and had no money to get treatment for his failing health, according to the police. Balaji is survived by wife, who returned from Kuwait recently, and two sons. The Mannur police registered a case.
