Karnataka team for inter-State athletic meet

BANGALORE, JULY 9. A 38-member contingent will represent Karnataka in the 44th National inter-State senior athletic championship at Chennai from July 18 to 20.

The teams: Men: Vilas Neelagund, B.C. Nagaraj, Mohd. Mudassir, B. Manjunath, Parameshwar, C.K. Harish, K.S. Ashok, Ramesh R. Poojar, Manjunath, A. Balakrishna, Basavaraj, T.V. Anil, Vikas Gowda, Bajwa, Sharathraj, P.J. Purandhar, Vinod and Jagadeesh.

Women: H.M. Jyothi, G.D. Gowramma, A.C. Ashwini, Vijayalakshmi, B. Hemalatha, L. Manjula, B.L. Bharathi, Preethi Rao, Rajashree Patil, G.G. Pramila, Sahana Kumari, Lajawanthi, Urmila Hegde and Vanaja Somaiah. S.S. Tawadanur, Yellagannavar (both managers); S.D. Eashan, Ajay Kumar (both coaches) and Shyam and Manjappa (both technical officials).
