MADURAI, JULY 9. Tension prevailed at the Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited office here today following a bomb threat. According to the police, a call was received at around 9. 15 a.m. in the office of the General Manager (Telecom) that a bomb would explode on the premises at 10 a.m. On an information, the city police rushed the Bomb Detection and Disposal Squad to the scene. Search was conducted for a couple of hours but no suspicious articles were found. Normal work resumed at the office shortly after 11 a.m., the sources added.
