BANGALORE, JULY 9. A man who was stabbed during a group clash at Jali Mohalla in the Cottonpet police station limits on Thursday died on Friday. The police said Rajesh (32), a dealer in jute bags, died around 3 a.m. at Victoria Hospital. Chaman (35), a rival of Rajesh, was killed in the clash on Thursday night. Two persons who were seriously injured, Zuber and Shakir, were admitted to hospital, the police said. A quarrel over a minor issue between Rajesh and Mohammed Gouse on Thursday evening took a communal turn when they brought people from their communities and the two groups attacked each other, the police said. The police have strengthened security at Jali Mohalla as there was tension in the area on Friday.
