Dalit women gang-raped

BHOPAL,
JULY 9.
Three Dalit women were allegedly raped at Bhomatola village in Seoni district of Madhya Pradesh last night by nine persons belonging to the Yadav community.
Seven of them were arrested today and police have launched a hunt for the other two. Prohibitory orders have been imposed in the village following a tense situation.
A boy belonging to a Dalit family allegedly eloped with a girl of the Yadav community on July 6. There are three Dalit families and more than 50 OBC families in Bhomatola. The father and an uncle of the boy were asked to bring back the "errant" children. They went to Nagpur in search of the boy and the girl but could not find them. An angry mob allegedly barged into the boy's house and raped the three women.
