American College HSS wins trophy

VELLORE, JULY 11. The American College HSS, Madurai won the Shrishti Trophy defeating MCtM HSS, Chennai 57-23 in the State-level inter-school basketball final in Brammapuram near here on Saturday.

Shrishti Matriculation HSS defeated Don Bosco HSS `A', Gandhinagar, Vellore 44-24 to claim the third place. R. Harsha (Shrishti MHSS) and Anand (American College HSS, Madurai) were adjudged `Best Players of the Tournament'. The Superintendent of Police, N. Rajasekharan gave away the prizes.
