BANGALORE, JULY 11. A two-wheeler rider died after he hit a pedestrian, lost control over the vehicle, and rammed a BMTC bus on Sarjapur Main Road near Agara Lake in Adugodi Traffic Police Station limits on Saturday. The police said the victim, aged about 28, was riding a scooterette when he hit a woman, Gauramma, who was crossing the road. While Gauramma escaped with injuries, the rider lost control of his vehicle and hit a bus. He was declared dead at about 11 p.m. on Saturday. The Adugodi Traffic Police have registered a case. In another accident, a truck knocked down a pedestrian in the Adugodi Police Station limits near a petrol bunk on Sarjapur Main Road. The victim was a man aged about 55. His body has been shifted to Victoria Hospital.
In the third incident, a 55-year-old man was killed when he was knocked down by a lorry on the Karvebhavipalya main road on Monday night. Jewellery stolen: Thieves broke into the house of a courier company employee, Sethuvilla, and took away gold jewellery in Ramamurthynagar Police Station limits on Sunday. According to a complaint lodged by Mr. Sethuvilla, he had gone with family to his brother's house on Hosur Road on Saturday. On his return to the house in Sir M.V. Nagar at about 11 a.m. on Sunday, he found the front door lock broken.
