TIRUCHI, JULY 12. V. Subba Rao team comprising Subba Rao, V.N. Ramamurthy, A. Viswanathan, T.N. Thyagarajan, T.M. Ravindran and R.V.S. Manian) emerged triumphant in the Swiss league of the annual bridge championship held here on July 10 and 11. Indra Dhanush's team finished second.

The results: 1. V. Subba Rao team (127 VPs), 2. Indra Dhanush (107 VPs) (Indra Dhanush, SRS Sastry, S.S. Mani, R.M. Kumarappan, S. Krishnan), 3. City Club, Tiruchi (102 VPS) (S. Krishnaswamy, C. Alagappan, T.M. Saravanan, T.M. Gunasekaran, S. Viswanathan).

Pairs: 1. A. Viswanathan and T.N. Thyagarajan (63.57 per cent), 2. R.M. Kumarappan and S.S. Mani (63.29 per cent), 3. K. Subramaniam and C.R. Kumar (62.71 per cent).
