BANGALORE, JULY 12. The Minister for Higher Education, D. Manjunath, speaking to presspersons at the CET Cell offices here today, adopted a wait-and-see attitude, with the Supreme Court soon expected to rule on the fee structure and seat-sharing ratio in private professional colleges. "The Government is agreeable to the Murgod Committee's recommendations... we are for seat sharing with private college managements on a 75:25 basis," Mr. Manjunath said. The final fee structure in the private colleges would depend on the Supreme Court's decision and, if the apex court revised the fees, any balance would certainly be refunded to the students. Asked if the fee structure of 2003 would continue in the medical colleges, he said it would depend on the court decision.
