In Delhi specifically, rainfall activity is likely to begin by July 15. This season, the city has so far received monsoon-related rains for only one-day.
Meanwhile, there has been good rains over the peninsular area comprising of Kerala, Tamil Nadu, Andhra Pradesh and Karnataka over the past two days and a gradual reduction in the intensity of rains in the north-east, which had been faced with the problem of flooding because of the incessant rains.
